Litter Picker Vacancy

Village Litter Picker required

who help to keep Charvil neat and tidy?

 Then maybe you are the person we are looking for to fill the vacancy of litter picker and park checker

Duties include:

• Keeping the footpaths and verges on the roads in the village free from litter where it is safe to do so. The role does not include litter picking on verges where there is no pavement or on roundabouts.
• Spraying dog poo when seen
• Checking the play and leisure equipment at East Park Farm, including the play area, the MUGA, the shelter and the picnic benches and reporting the issues to the Amenities Manager
• Being part of the opening/closing rota for the gates at East Park Farm
• Other general duties as directed by the Parish Clerk or Amenities Manager
• Undertaking training as appropriate

Hours of work are 6 per week. When these are worked is flexible as workload varies throughout the year.

Rate of pay starts from £11.62 per hour, depending on experience
